Administrative / Biographical History

G. Wilson Knight (1897-1985) was born at Sutton, Surrey, and educated at Dulwich. He served as a Despatch Rider in Mesopotamia and, after the War, in Persia. Later he became Professor of English Literature at the University of Leeds.
