MS Add.5868: notes by Webb concerning parishes in the patronage of Clare Hall apparently collected in connection with tithe commutation, including lists of proprietors and occupiers, acreages and annual values (late 1830s-early 1840s); and extracts from the accounts of Clare Hall (1751-1813) and of the University (1799-1821). MS Add.5869: volume titled 'Vice Chancellor's Year Memorandums', beginning 'On the fourth of Novr 1817 I was elected Vice-Chancellor for the year unanimously…' From rear: 'Memorandums of the Vice Chancellorship 1832'. MS Add.5870: notes by Webb of sermons heard at Great St. Mary's and elsewhere, 7 March-5 December 1830 [most of the notebook is unused]. MS Add.5871: Webb's journal of a tour to Scotland, 9 June-29 September 1838. [MSS Add.5868-71 were presented in 1914 by Mrs. A.J. Edmonds.] MS Add.5987: a volume of transcripts by Webb of pedigrees from the records of the College of Arms, mostly of members of the University tracing their descent from mediaeval monarchs.
