Scope and Content

Collations by Paul Maas, c. 1898-1920, of texts of hymns by St. Romanus. Cf. Sancti Romani melodii cantica, cantica genuina, ed. P. Maas and C.A. Trypanis (Oxford, 1963). The collations contain the following Akrostichis numbers: (c. 5), 1-7, 9-11, 15-16, 18-27; (c. 6), 28, 30, 33-5, 37-9, 41-6, 50-2, 54-7, 59-64; (c. 7) 65-71, 73-81, 81a, 82-4, 87, 117, 202.
