Administrative / Biographical History
Albert Victor Murray (d. 1967) was born at Choppington, Northumberland, educated at Magdalen College, Oxford, and became Secretary to the Student Christian Movement. A conscientious objector during the First World War, he was exempted from military service on health grounds. He later became a professor.
