Administrative / Biographical History
Rev. Christopher Wordsworth (1848-1938), son of Christopher Wordsworth, Bishop of Lincoln, was prebendary of Salisbury Cathedral and between the years 1911-1928 held offices in the Cathedral including, Librarian, Sub-Dean and Chancellor. The notes on the Sarum Missal were written while he was rector of St Peter's, Marlborough 1897-1911. He was also a historian of ecclesistical matters and published several articles on church history.
