Administrative / Biographical History

The minutes were originally those of the South West Section of the Metropolitan District Association of the Cyclists' Touring Club. This body became the South West Section of the South London District Association between 1939 and October 1948, when the sections were divided into the South London and South West London District Associations, this one being re-named the South West London District Association. There was a Kingston Section of this new South West London District Association, which was in operation before February 1952 until at least 1976.
