Scope and Content

In consideration of #150, John Cross of Chesterton, Cambridgeshire, boatwright (1st party), conveys to John Swan of Barnwell, Cambridge, milkman (2nd party), his parcel of land adjacent to 'Brickiln Lane', Barnwell. Edward Preston of Barnwell, victualler (3rd party), is named as Swan's trustee. Indentures, lease (for one year at peppercorn rent) and release (in the form of a tripartite indenture) both with the mark of and sealed by Cross, witnessed by James Wentworth and George Henry Bays, duty stamps. Release endorsed with receipt for consideration money, same date, same signatures.
