Frederick Stadelman Hudson (1889-1967) was born at Holborn, London. As a Bombardier, 86th (Heavy) Battery, RGA (Royal Garrison Artillery), he served in India and Mesopotamia, and was held POW (Prisoner of War) at Ras-el-Ain, Turkey, after the Siege of Kut.
