Scope and Content

Items 1-3: 17 loose photographs and 5 photograph albums of W.L. Palmer who served with the East Riding Imperial Yeomanry in Egypt/Palestine from 1915, with typed transcript of tape 501, an interview recorded with him by Peter Liddle (1915-1953, 1978). Item 4: Photograph album, with pencil sketches of medals, of Brigadier Mark Sykes who served with the East Riding Imperial Yeomanry in Egypt/Palestine, 1915-1918, and on the Western Front, 1918 (1914-1916, nd). Item 5: Photograph album of H.L. Friis, a Sergeant serving with the East Riding Imperial Yeomanry from 1903 (1903-1912). Item 6: Order of service for the 50th Anniversary of the East Riding Imperial Yeomanry (26 July 1953); 24 photographs (8 August 1940); 8 photographs, some relating to the 50th Anniversary of the East Riding Imperial Yeomanry (1911-1918, 1953); 2 picture postcards (nd); MGC (Machine Gun Corps) Christmas card (December 1918). Item 7: ca. 450 photographs and picture postcards (1910-1918). Item 8: Photograph album of Frederick R. Scott who served with the East Riding Imperial Yeomanry in Egypt/Palestine during the First World War (1916-1918). Item 9: Photocopied miscellaneous correspondence, photographs, army papers and East Riding Yeomanry Old Comrades' Association papers of Joseph Kidd (1893-1978) who served with the East Riding Imperial Yeomanry in Egypt/Palestine during the First World War and in the Royal Artillery, 1939-1942 (1920-1942, 1974-1978). Item 10: 2 photograph albums (4 March 1918, nd).
