Scope and Content

Transcripts of letter books of Samuel Wilberforce, Bishop of Oxford, containing tissue copies of letters from the Bishop, 1843-68, by the Rev. R.K. Pugh. The originals are MSS Wilberforce, but are too fragile to be made available, except in special circumstances.
