Dr John Goldthorpe was an Assistant Lecturer, Department of Sociology, University of Leicester, 1957-1960; Fellow, King's College, Cambridge, 1960-1969; and Official Fellow, Nuffield College, Oxford, 1969-2002, and Emeritus Fellow from 2002.
