Administrative / Biographical History
Glan-yr-Afon County Primary School opened on the 5 November 1958 with the admission of 280 children transferred from Pen-y-Bryn Infants School and 133 children transferred from Pen-y-Bryn Junior School. The school was officially opened as Glan-yr-Afon County Primary School on 4 May 1960.
