Administrative / Biographical History
The S.S. Caledonia, Anchor Line was built by Hendersen & Co., Glasgow in 1904. During WW1 becoming a troopship which conveyed the 1/6 Royal Welsh Fusiliers to the Dardanelles in 1915 including the D Company men from Holyhead and Menai Bridge. She was later torpedoed.
