Scope and Content

This oral history collection comprises seven interviews that were undertaken by Dunton Bassett's local History Society in the 1980s regarding life in the village for the early 1900s.

Dunton Bassett is a small village in the Harborough district of Leicestershire, England. A book about the village was also produced, which included excerpts from the interviews: 'Dunton Bassett, a Village History' by Wendy Warren, Alan Hill, Millie Smith.
