'Original manuscripts of the contents of The Keepsake. In the handwriting of the several authors'. The Keepsake, a 19th century literary annual, was edited by Frederic Mansel Reynolds (d.1850), 1828-35 and 1838-9. The compilation is presumably from his papers.The volume contains 7 stories, 2 poems and 1 essay. 8 of these are signed with initials or noms de plume. The volume is entitled 'M.S.S. to Keepsake. 1835', and has the bookplate of Thomas Bell, Newcastle antiquary. [1] 'The monument, a tale', anon. 21pp (published 1833). [2] 'The sister Theresa.
