No biographical information was available at time of compilation of description regarding Rev. I. Poole nor Charles Joseph Harford.
Dr Joseph Priestley, which is the subject of part of this manuscript was born in 1733, the son of a cloth-dresser from Leeds. He emigrated to America in 1774 and established the first Unitarian Church in America. He was the recipient of much hostility in Britain because of his political and religious beliefs.
