Custodial History
The provenance of most of these fragments is not known. Some may have been acquired around the same time the collection of manuscript fragments, see MS FRAG, although this seems unlikely as most of the manuscript fragments originated in Germany and many of the printed fragment are English. The printed fragments were stored with the manuscript fragments and treated as the same collection until both were catalogued in August 2014 and a distinction was made between the two groups. They were also stored with the manuscript deeds collection, see MS DEEDS.
