Elwyn Jones and Co., Solicitors, were based in Bangor, Caernarfonshire. The firm dealt with estates in Anglesey, Caernarfonshire and Merionethshire during the 19th and 20th centuries, and accumulated papers relating to its clients' interests; they included Bangor Local Board of Health, Bangor Borough Council, Bangor and Arfon Permanent Benefit Building Society, established in c.1865 and dissolved in 1939, John Griffith Jones, Auctioneer and Valuer, Caernarfon and Richard Pritchard, draper, of Port Dinorwic,.
