Whereas William Richards by will dated 30 May 1754 devised and bequeathed all his land to his wife Jane Richards for life, and on her death bequeathed certain property in Silver Street, Cambridge, to his daughter Elizabeth Orme, wife of Joseph Orme of London, and made Jane Richards executrix; and whereas Jane Richards is dead and Elizabeth Orme is in possession; and where Elizabeth Orme has agreed with Mary Orme for the purchase of the property for a certain sum; Mary Orme releases to Elizabeth Orme the property in question being in her actual possession by Indenture of Lease dated the previous day [Doc 360], to her and her heirs to the use of her and her heirs for ever. Witnesses: John Thetford, Susanna Thetford. On the back is a receipt for the purchase money signed by Mary Orme. Witnesses: the same. One seal is attached.
