Administrative / Biographical History
This collection contains a number of items from Variety and Music Halls featuring the skating act of Handby & Celeine. The posters date from 1932 to 1938, and correspondence and contracts from 1938-1939. Handby Celeine were also known as Handby Celeine Trio, The Handby Celeine Four, The Three Skatoris and The Skatoris. They performed in stand-alone comedy, burlesque and skating acts as well as in pantomime. Known addresses in Manchester and London.
