Administrative / Biographical History
The death of Owen Bold of Tre'rddol near Llechgynfarwy, Anglesey in September 1703 resulted in the devolution of his lands upon the Meyrick family. The widow of Owen Bold was Margaret Bold, daughter of John Owen of Penrhos. Margaret Bold's second husband was the Rev. Robert Wynn of Garthewin, Chancellor of St. Asaph and Vicar of Gresford.
