Administrative / Biographical History

The Society for the Preservation of Pembrokeshire Records was established in 1968 as a voluntary and autonomous body. It became the Pembrokeshire Record Society in 1971. In September 1983 it merged with the Pembrokeshire Local History Society to form the Pembrokeshire Local History and Record Society (from October 1984 the Pembrokeshire Historical Society).
