Administrative / Biographical History

Marcus M. Kaiser (Kaye) (d. 1984) was born in South London and educated at Dulwich College and, after the War, Cambridge. As a Lieutenant, RFC (Royal Flying Corps) and RAF (Royal Air Force) he served with No. 18 Squadron on the Western Front. He was shot down and captured, 7 May 1917, then held as a POW (Prisoner of War) at Stettin, Augustabad and Schweidnitz. Later, as a Wing Commander, he served in the Second World War.
