Three prints of calligraphy by Gerald Mynott (one is signed by the artist) in the style of Edward Johnston's calligraphy. All the prints are variations on medieval script styles: two are monochrome.

Administrative / Biographical History

Gerald Mynott was born in London in 1957 and educated at Reigate College of Art and Design, where he studied heraldry, calligraphy and illumination. He graduated with the highest marks ever recorded at the College. He worked for three years as a Herald Painter at the Royal College of Arms, and then studied at the Künstlerhaus in Vienna in 1979. He returned for his first one-person exhibition with Francis Kyle Gallery, A View of Vienna, in 1980. Since then, he has exhibited all over the world. In 2001, for instance, he was selected as a featured artist in The Discerning Eye exhibition.
