Administrative / Biographical History

George Bagshaw Harrison (1894-1991) was born at Hove, East Sussex, and educated at Queen's College, Cambridge. As a 2nd Lieutenant, 5th Battalion, Queen's Royal West Surrey Regiment, and Staff Captain, 42nd Indian Infantry Brigade, he served in Mesopotamia. He later became a professor.
