Scope and Content

Richard Bentley, D.D., Archdeacon of Ely, lets the parsonage of Wilburton to James Mallabar for a term of three lives. A proviso is added that the lessee pays a certain sum yearly to the curate of Wilburton. The lessor appoints as his attorneys Clement Tubbs and John Cumbers, both of Wilburton. Witnessed by Thomas Bainbrigg, Eben. Bourne, Robert Mathews, and John Carroway.
