Administrative / Biographical History

H.C. Purser-Smith was born in 1896 and educated at Manchester University. As a 2nd Lieutenant, 2nd Battalion, East Yorkshire Regiment, and 771 Trench Mortar Battery, he served in Salonika and Macedonia from 1915. Later he became a Doctor.
