The Master, Fellows and Scholars of St John's College, let to Richard Clarke of Cambridge certain land in Cambridge, except the timber, reserving to themselves the right to carry it away for the term of twenty years; the lessee is to lay manure; he is not to damage or remove trees; he is not to carry off the soil, nor to allow bricks to be made on it; he is not to erect any shed except of bricks or boards; he is not to alienate without licence.
