Administrative / Biographical History

By 1864  , Leisler, Bock & Co , merchants, were an established at West George Street, Glasgow, Scotland. Several members of the Rottenburg family worked for the company, namely Fritz, Paul and Francis. The surviving records show that the company traded in chemicals. By 1879, the firm had moved to Hope Street, Glasgow, before moving again to St Vincent Place around 1884. In around 1929, the firm was situated on West Regent Street. The firm disappears from the Glasgow Post Office directories in 1957  .
