Donated by Mr. Caleb Robjohns. Previously in the Library of Lord Ashburnham.

Note

This is an incomplete version of The Brut Chronicle, or The Chronicle of England. It was written in England, in English, in the 15th century. There are two notes by Harry Place, Rector of Marnhull, Dorset, dated the 20th May 1823 pasted on the flyleaf and a note attributed to Lord Ashburnham on the reverse of the flyleaf.
