Administrative / Biographical History
Gwilym H. Morris (c. 1900-c.1971) was a resident of Afonwen, Flintshire. He had a sister Mabel Foulkes (nee Morris) (fl. 1900-1998) and a brother, John. During the early 20th century, he was a market reporter for the Board of Agriculture and Fisheries, and chairman of Caerwys magistrates until his retirement in 1958.

Appraisal Information
The following have been permanently withdrawn and copies made: D/DM/473/27, D/DM/473/30, D/DM/473/39, D/DM/473/46(part), D/DM/473/111(1 of 2 copies), D/DM/473/118(part). Transferred to Flintshire County Museum and Library service were 192 items (antiquities; collection of agricultural farm implements), ANT90 and ANT96, deposited by G. H. Morris in 1975. Item 64 was however returned to him. A further permanent withdrawal was made in 2006 of the following items: D/DM/473/141; D/DM/473/163; D/DM/473/169; D/DM/473/184; D/DM/473/190.
