Administrative / Biographical History
Llanthony Priory is situated at the Vale of Ewyas in the Black Mountains within the Brecon Beacons National Park. It was founded around 1100 by the Norman knight William de Lacy and was Wales' first Augustinian priory. Today, the habitable portion been converted into a hotel.
