'Whereas Robert Freeman my father is in occupation of a messuage ... of 8 acres which premises are part of Mary (my wife)'s joynture who may after my decease enter into it ... Now if Mary or anyone ejects my father he shall enter into and ... the messuage with 8 acres, which I purchased of Robt. Goldspinke and now have for his life'. His wife Mary to be executrix and to have all his goods and to pay all his debts etc. Robert Bayes, clerk, of Pulham and Benjamin Bayes, his grandson, to be overseers. Signed by John Freeman.
