Scope and Content

For homage and service, and in consideration of 20s gressum, Thomas Olyve of ?Wyverdestun' confirms his gift to William son of Edmund of Caldecote, of two pieces of land in the field called Caldecote, between the lands of William le Palmer and William de le Grene. To be held of Thomas, his heirs or assigns by William, his heirs or assigns. Reserving quit-rent of one penny for all services. Witnessed by Thomas de Bresew[o]rth, Walter de Caldecote, John son of William, Robert son of Richard le Peytur, Robert de Sancto Edmundo, William son of Manserus, Radulf le Furnays, Nicholas de Ruchae, William le Erchedeken, and others Tag, seal wanting. Endorsed in a modern hand: 'Caldecote'.
