From 19th to 23rd October 1911 a conference entitled 'Unrest among the working classes' was held at All Soul's College, Oxford. The attendees were members of the Conservative and Unionist Party. The conference discussed the relationship between social unrest and poverty. The proceedings were privately printed as Papers on Unrest among the Working Classes read to a few Unionist MPs at Oxford, 19-23 October 1911 by L.S. Amery and others.
