In consideration of #152 10s paid to John Whittred of Cambridge, gent (in settlement of a mortgage of the property) and of a further #47 10s, Zachariah Mart of Cambridge, gent, and Ann his wife, release a tenement in Preachers St, parish of St Andrew the Great, Cambridge, now or late in the possession of Thomas Bennet esq and Mrs Beard, widow, to Harry Gilman of Cambridge, apothecary. Lease: Doc 1916. The unexpired mortgage term is to be assigned to Gilman Wall of Cambridge, apothecary, in trust to Gilman to wait upon the recovery. 2 pages, signed and sealed by Zachariah and Ann Mart, witnessed by John Smith and John Haggerstone, duty stamps. Endorsed with receipt for #47 10s, same signatures. Further endorsed in blue crayon: 'Cambridge'.
