'Project Conwy' was a scheme intended to promote the town of Conwy as a World Heritage site, particularly following the construction of the tunnel under the River Conwy in 1991, which proposed to relieve the town of its notorious traffic congestion. The scheme ran for a planned four years before going into voluntary liquidation. The accountants Thorndike Tiernay were responsible for completing the liquidation process.
