Copy of manor roll. At view of Frankpledge and Court Baron. It was certified and presented by homage that on 25 May 1702 William Convers customary tenant of the manor surrendered certain property to the use of Thomas of Mucking, Essex, with the provision that the agreement be void on the payment of a certain sum by William Convers by a certain date. William Convers died before the date. Thomas Gray was admitted tenant of the property, and afterwards surrendered it to the use of Nathaniel Gray, his youngest son, who was admitted. Thomas Gray was granted custody of Nathaniel Gray who was an infant. Signed by Francis Mills, Steward of the Manor.
