John Cross of Gamlingay sells to George King of Potton, Beds., certain property in Gamlingay for a term of five hundred years at a peppercorn rent; if John Cross pays to George King a certain sum by a certain date the agreement is void; John Cross is to insure the premises against fire in the joint names of himself and George King. Witnessed by J.W.B. Brown. On the back is a receipt for the agreed sum paid by George King and signed by John Cross. Witnessed by the same. Bond attached (MS Doc.1648/1). A seal is attached.
