Administrative / Biographical History

The farm to which the accounts relate was occupied by the Bailiff to Rev. Henry Hippisley of Lambourne, Berks, the supervisor of the Isbury Charity, and was taken in hand by the estate sometime before 1822. It was rented out again in 1829 when the accounts close

Farm size: Probably 200-250 acres; mixed soils; bailiff-occupied holding
