Administrative / Biographical History

The World Union for Progressive Judaism was founded in 1926. Its object was to foster the international growth and practice of Liberal and Reform Judaism and to co-ordinate the activities of its constituent organisations. The headquarters of the organisation is in New York. The European Board, which was founded in 1959, has offices in London.
