Administrative / Biographical History
The Continuing Education Centre was established in 1982 following a restructuring of the Continuing Education Office. Its remit was to liaise with both the University faculties and commerce, industry and national and local government departments to provide a comprehensive programme of continuing education courses for the West of Scotland. In 1999, it was replaced by the Centre for Lifelong Learning.
