1 John la Warre, kt, lord of Swyneshed. 2 William Henore. Confirmation of a m. and 1 a. of land in Swyneshed for the life of 2, which premises 2 now holds by a demise from 'Dominus' Thomas de Wike, rector of Maniecester, for the life of the said Thomas de Wike with reversion to 1 after the death of the said Thomas. Annual rent: 9s. to the said Thomas for the term of his life, 18d. to 1 and 10s.6 to 1 after the death of the said Thomas. Duties: suit of court at Swyneshed and a penny annually as a fine to view of frankpledge according to custom. Witnesses: 'Dominus' John de Marcheford, rector of the church of Wakirle, William Berneys of the same, Nicholas Charrer of the same. Dated at Wakirle. Latin. Deed repaired prior to purchase by NLW.
