1 Thomas the smith of Wyketoftes. 2 Lord John la Warre of Euwyas. Gift In Fee Tail of four pieces of land in the field of Burtoftes, p. Wyketoftes [Wigtoft, Lincolnshire], of which one piece lies between the villein-held land of 2 on the east, west and south, abutting on the land of Stephen, son of Richard, towards the north, the second piece lies between the villein-held land of 2 on the south and north, abutting on the land of 2 and Coppingrigge towards the east, and on the common sewer towards the west, the third piece lies between the villein-held land of 2 on the east, west and north and the land of Richard de Castirton on the south, and the fourth piece lies between the villein-held land of 2 on the east and south and the lane on the west and north, in exchange for a certain piece of land lying in a cultivated area called Meede in p. Wyketoft, between the villein-held land of 2 on the south, east and west and the land of John of Burtoftes and Hugh Lucye on the north.
