1 Lord John la Warre, kt, lord of Swynesheued. 2 John de Whitton of Swynesheued. Lease for life of a m. with wharf-yard ('le stathilgherde') there, late in the tenure of John Toller of Swynesheued [in p. Swineshead, Lincolnshire]; covenant by 2 to maintain the aforesaid m. and 'stathilgherde' with enclosures, wall and roof and all other necessaries in a suitable state of repair during the term of the lease, and in the event of his failure to do so, to pay for their repair through compulsory fines and amercements in the court of 1 at Swynesheued.
