Peter de Hope, son of Roger de Hope of Romen', confirms that his brother Stephen de Hope, of late gave him and his sister Agnes 'coniunctim', among other properties, 14 acres of land in the parish of Middele [Midley, Kent?], inherited by Stephen after the death of their father, and now declares that he has quitclaimed to the said Stephen all his right in that property. Boundaries given using the English 'northeast', 'northwest', 'sutheast', and 'suthwest' Saturday after the feast of St Barnabas the apostle deed poll, witnessed by Roger de Odynhelle, Peter Fermour, Stephen de Grenstrete, Henry Champyon, John Webbe, Robert Dauy, Thomas Dauy, Stephen Dauy, John clerk, and others. Tagged pendant red round seal with 'bird' device. Hole at centre left, and worn in places. Two slightly later endorsements of identification. Further endorsed: '332/4' and, in pencil, '175'.
