Pierce O. Evans, of Felenrhyd Fawr, Maentwrog, Merionethshire, accumulated documents relating to the parishes of Maentwrog and Llandecwyn, Merionethshire, including Llenyrch Farm, Llandecwyn, which was farmed by John Evans (fl. 1846-1898) and William Evans (fl. 1898-1919), and the schooner G. & W. Jones and brig Martha Perceival, based in Porthmadog, Caernarfonshire.
