The archive consists of photocopies of papers relating to the history of the 'Woman of the Year Lunches', a women's networking event that honoured women selected for 'excellence in a chosen career'. The records were put together by Antonella (Tony) Lothian, who co-founded the Lunch at the Savoy Hotel in 1955, and who was its President until 1969. Comprises:
* Photocopy information on each annual lunch 1959-1998, listing speakers and Guests of Honour at each event.
* Photocopy of typescript notes made by Tony Lothian on the history of the Woman of the Year Lunches. Includes her lists of the best speakers and memorable moments, Nov 1998 (10 pages).
* Photocopy of typescript speech made by Tony Lothian as Founder President of the Woman of the Year Lunch, on Mon 12 Oct 1998 (2 pages).
