File of correspondence, newspaper cuttings, photographs and accounts relating to the reunions of the Master Mariners of Caernarfonshire, Anglesey and West Wales.

Log books of the SS Eastern Prince, 1906-1908, the SS Afghan Prince, 1912-1915. Copies of portage accounts of the SS Afghan Prince, 1905-1912, sent home for safe custody when submarine warfare commenced during the First World War and of the SS Burmese Prince, 1915-1916.

Typescript notes on the history, growth and development of Pwllheli, Caernarfonshire.

Administrative / Biographical History

Captain R. E. Thomas served as the master of the SS Eastern Prince, the SS Afghan Prince and the SS Burmese Prince, before and during the First World War. From 1934-1950 he successfully organised the reunions of the Master Mariners of Caernarfonshire, Anglesey and West Wales.
