Scope and Content

This oral history collection comprises four interviews and one workshop talk. The interviewees describe their childhood experiences, arriving in the UK from the Caribbean, and facing racism. The workshop is about using family history for creative writing.

Administrative / Biographical History

This collection was produced by an organisation called Crystal Clear Creators, who were based in Loughborough. It came as part of a project which looked at legacies of the Trans-Atlantic Slave Trade, and involved oral histories with people living in Leicestershire who have a Caribbean background.
